Subject: [ferrethealth] Need Help With New (ILL) Ferrets

Hi, I just got 2 ferrets yesterday and they aren't in great shape. I
probably wouldn't have paid for them if I didn't think they would have
died with the owners they had.
They have fleas pretty bad (I've been combing them several times a
day), are really thin, and have scabs on their bodies (I think it's
from the fleas). When I first saw them they had terrible urine burns on
their paws from the dirty cage they were living in. I've been treating
that with bag balm, and it's already looking better.
I need any advice people can give me to help these little ferrets.
Their names are Itsy, and Sherlock.
