Sounds like you need to take them to a vet but if you cant do that right away you could try gently bathing them using Dawn Original Dish washing detergent. That kills fleas on contact so should get rid of a lot of them. Be sure to rinse them good afterwards and not to get any in their eyes.
You can give them a bit (1 to 2 teaspoons) of whipping cream every day along with some chicken w/broth baby food and that should help put some weight on them. I'm not a vet but hope that helps til you can get them in to see one.
Hugs and luck

Hi, I just got 2 ferrets yesterday and they aren't in great shape. I
probably wouldn't have paid for them if I didn't think they would have
died with the owners they had.

They have fleas pretty bad (I've been combing them several times a
day), are really thin, and have scabs on their bodies (I think it's
from the fleas). When I first saw them they had terrible urine burns on
their paws from the dirty cage they were living in. I've been treating
that with bag balm, and it's already looking better.

I need any advice people can give me to help these little ferrets.
Their names are Itsy, and Sherlock.

Thanks!
