You might have to put some on your finger and force him to taste it several times. Usually they refuse it at first cause it's not a food they have imprinted on when they were young. Keep forcing him to taste a bit at a time and he'll probably decide he loves it. That's what I had to do with mine but it works great if you can persist cause it's a good food when they are ill and also for mixing some meds in.
