Make an appointment for the vet for them. Get them some frontline or advantage or similar vet product to treat their fleas. Have their ears checked for ear mites, looked over for any fungal skin problems, all things you want treated early. Consider stool check for worms or coccidia, giardia ( although worms are rare in ferrets, if neglected it may be a concern).
THe vet check can also look over for any other signs of problems, concerns while you are getting them back in shape.

The vet can also get a good look at their teeth, etc.
And I will assume once they start to get better will need vaccinations.

Keep a sharp eye on their food intake and stools. Watch them eating, making sure not grinding, pawing at mouth, etc. SIgns of stomach pain or dental issues.

Good luck, thankfully you can give these 2 guys a great home!

Hi, I just got 2 ferrets yesterday and they aren't in great shape. I
probably wouldn't have paid for them if I didn't think they would have
died with the owners they had.

They have fleas pretty bad (I've been combing them several times a
day), are really thin, and have scabs on their bodies (I think it's
from the fleas). When I first saw them they had terrible urine burns on
their paws from the dirty cage they were living in. I've been treating
that with bag balm, and it's already looking better.

I need any advice people can give me to help these little ferrets.
Their names are Itsy, and Sherlock.

Thanks!
