Here's a quote from Dr. Brown on hiccups:

"In ferrets, it [hiccups] is relatively common, especially in younger
animals. It is frequently associated with excitement, but may occur
spontaneously also. It is really nothing to worry about and will go away
on its own with no help at all."

- Susan A. Brown, DVM

When I learned that hiccuping is often associated with excitement, I
paid more attention to when I heard a hiccup and sure enough each time
it was something a fuzzbutt was clearly excited about. I do a little
sing-song "Ferretone time," when its time to get nails clipped and one
of mine always begins hiccuping when she hears me singing, I presume at
the prospect of getting a Ferretone treat : ) - and not because of my
dreadful singing.

I have had several fuzzbutts snore off and on occasionally. I think as
long as they are otherwise healthy it shouldn't be a concern.
