I've had 25 ferrets to date, all have had hiccups, some quite
frequently. I don't know what causes it in ferrets but it does appear
to be a normal occurrence. I've had 3 that snore and many that
vocalize (from light whimpers to all out blood curdling screeches) in
their sleep. I don't know the reasons for these things either but
again they do appear to be normal occurrences.
