Subject: [ferrethealth] Need a Hi protien ferret food
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Hello
I need to know what the highest protien pet food there is for ferrets
I currently have mine on Proffessional which is 32 mg protien and the
first ingrident is chicken and shhhhooooot I just read the panel and
fiber is 8% Taurine is 0.1% Mouisture is 10.% Crude fat is 9% Zinc is
225mg Selenium is 0.4mg vitamin A is 150 IU L-carnitine 30 mg omega-6
fatty acids 1.7%omega-3 fatty acids 0.3%
calorie content is 3,250 kcal/kg 304 kcals/cup calculated Metabolizable
Energy
Everything seems ok cept the fiber
can this cause a ferret to become insilinoma sooner by causing them to
poo more?
As Old Timer is showing the signs and even tho I have added baby food
his sugars are still low the one I just took states 33 but ai DON'T
TRUST THESE METERS whoops sorry in caps, I have 5 and each gives me a
diffrent reading (no I did not use all 5 on him On me , His lil tail
was so sore from me testing him every hour and half for the first day I
could not subject him to 5 meters of trying to get blood )
