If this persists for much longer, I would look into other causes;
what kind of water supply is in your area?
I routinely take my chilluns camping and, the well water sypply tends
to soften their poops.
Do you have any other animals in the house that may have some kind of
parasite?
This is not to suggest that you are in any way unclean, but that a
communicable parasite may hit your ferret harder that the host animal.
I have also read that many ferrets with sore insides benefit from a
barium tretment. I have not had any under go this myself.
