Subject: [ferrethealth] My Ferrets are Getting Fat

Hi All,
I first noticed in Bonnie like a month or so ago that she was putting on qu=
ite a bit of weight. Like a lot. She just kinda waddles now. We thought may=
be she was bored and not excercising enough so I revamped the cage and the =
bedroom and we made them a maze and bought new toys. We were hoping she'd p=
erk up, but she really didn't.
Now though, Clyde is starting to put on weight too. They aren't even a year=
old yet. Could this be like a seasonal thing since winter is coming (thoug=
h Florida's not known for it's winters!) or maybe they could be having a gr=
owth spurt? I=A0just don't know if I should be getting worried or if this i=
s a normal thing.

P.S. They are eating a mix of Totally Ferret Baby and Zupreem foods right n=
ow, as I am in the process of switching from Totally Ferret to Zupreem. And=
they don't really get treats...at least not daily or anything.
