Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: Ballpark cost for adrenal surgery?
To: <ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com>

Amazing, that is very expensive. I know we're talking about dollars here but
still! Here in Italy it comes down to much less. The more I think about it
the more I'm against this kind of operation as often it doesn't even solve
the problem. May I cautiously suggest that there are some vets out there
that are not especially interested in the alternative of a Deslorelin
implant as this implant costs something like 50,- Euro's?

As said before, my Ulisse has been diagnosed with an enlarged adrenal and
the left adrenal was removed. His only symptom is the terrible condition of
his tail which is always full of bloody crusts. This is becausing the skin
is thinning caused by a lack of balance in the gender hormones. After the
surgery nothing changed, Ulisse has still got the bloody tail. I will keep
you informed about the results of his Deslorelin implant.

Saluti Anja.
