Oh, often it DOES solve the problem. Having surgery be curative has
USUALLY been our own experience in our 27 years with ferrets.

Getting used to knowing when it might not be sufficient is part of
a vet and the ferret's people becoming experienced, learning, and
improving over time.

That said, I still do hope that at some point the typical several year
long "hurry up and then wait" situation -- which can be encountered
more than once in the governmental processes soon resolve in favor
of having the deslorelin implant readily available.
