Subject: [ferrethealth] A few questions

My ferret Itsy, when I got her had a really bad flea problem. They're
gone now, and I'm just concerned that the hair on her shoulders is a
bit thin. The other ferret I got with her, Oliver, had the same amount
of fleas, but his hair seems to be okay. He only has scabs remaining
from itching, which Itsy has too. Should I worry?
Also, their previous owners told me that they were only 1 year old, but
their teeth don't indicate such youth. They are pretty yellow and dull.
Is there any way to tell how old they really are?
