Subject: [ferrethealth] Re: white spots on liver
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

I removed a lobe of liver in a ferret with these all over and they
came back as hepatocellular carcinoma. It carries a poor prognosis
but the good news is that the one I treated and supplemented her
lived one year past surgery despite what everyone told me.

We used milk Thistle, SAMem melatonin, and she was alread on pred.I
can't recall what other supplements she was on but Omega 3 fatty
acids too. We mixed everything in a soup and she ate it fine.

Good luck.
