Chewie's necropsy revealed what the vet termed a Thrombus of the liver.=A0 =
I believe thats a fancy term for blood clot.=A0 If I'm right then the blood=
clot was preventing the circulation of blood through her liver.=A0 I could=
not find any info on this in the archives but other web sites have mention=
ed what happens when this occurs.=A0 I don't think there was anything that =
could be done to save her.

I do not regret opting for surgery.=A0 What I regret is the lack of ferret =
knowledge out there.=A0 Its improving, but still not enough.=A0 I know this=
topic has been brought up many many times so I will not rattle on about it=

Chewie will be privately cremated Monday and I should have her ashes back b=
