Something good needs to come of this. If my post helps even one fuzzy out there, then it is worth it.
It is too late to help Chewie, but your vet should have told you---Metacam is to be given with food. She wasn`t eating...
Prednisone is to be given with food too-- (Was she still on prednisone?)
Prednisone & metacam don`t mix.
