Subject: [ferrethealth] Lymphnode Question...

Hello-
I wish that I was able to answer other people's worried questions
about their ferret's health. But I am also learning as I go.
Blackberry is about 5 years old and has been diagnosed with adrenal
disease. At the same time her lymph nodes under her jaw have been
swelling.
Her surgery was recently called off because of the possibility of
lymphoma (which we can't get a definitive diagnosis for.
She also takes azithiaprine but we have been out for a few days--while
waiting for it to arrive we have noticed a considerable increase in
the lymphnodes.
Could the medicine for IBD be helping to suppress the progression of
the lymphoma? or perhaps this is just a coincidence.
Lastly, I hope that there is a day when these sweet little creatures
don't have to live with so much pain.
Any information you have is greatly appreciated.
