First of all, you should NEVER introduce ferrets until the new one has
been quarantined for at least a couple of weeks, and vet checked. You
need to make sure that the new ferret is healthy and not carrying
anything that can be passed on to your current ferrets. This also
gives you the opportunity to bond with the new ferret by himself.
After that time, you can start slow supervised introductions. Ferrets
bite each other when playing. Unless blood is drawn, you just have to
let them work out their pecking order.
