Often to know whether a ferret's lungs are clear or not an x-ray is
required. Most of the time just listening with a stethoscope is not
sufficient to determine whether or not the lungs are clear. I have learned
this through personal experience.

It sounds like they may all be improving at this point, and that is good.
In the future, though, when you think that pneumonia might be a possibility=
,
it is best to request an x-ray if the vet does not suggest it.
