Sorry that in searching for neurofibrosarcoma info I come up with so
little. There is more on other forms of fibrosarcoma, of course, and
certainly more yet on the general category of sarcomas.
The little I can find indicates that this specific type of tumor,
neurofibrosarcoma, is incredibly rare, and it appears in some other
species to involve a genetic component (humans, mice with certain
tumor suppressing genes removed) There IS treatment info for dogs
which may help.
There seem to be a number of references on these in horses, and here
is a vet's reply about one in a dog:

Dogs are the closest animal I can find taxonomically on which there is
info for you, and this seems like it could be quite applicable.
I find only two previous mentions in the FHL Archives, both from 7
years ago.

Click down the to next page for mention of an old reference on
Neurofibrosarcomas of the eyelid in ferrets, but it is old enough to
not appear in PubMed. Dr. H. Steinburg had unpublished observations
(1997) From looking at a different study I think that person was at
the Department of Pathology, New York State College of Veterinary
Medicine, Cornell University, Ithaca 14853
but that was some time ago, so I don't know about now.
Apparently, there was also something in the first edition of _Biology
and Diseases of the Ferret_ but I gave that edition away so can't
check. It is listed in number 5 of the references on page 445 of the
current edition, with the authors of that section being put as Goad
MEP and James Fox.
It is mentioned in a chart in 3.9.5
of

which begins:

It looks like among humans these also are rare except in individuals
who have certain genetics, but that is just an impression from some
abstracts.
