At that size it might not be a mast cell tumor,
but something else.
Question: is the no rabies shot due to a serious
allergic reaction by this ferrets in the past, or
just preference?
If just preference I am wondering (because I
honestly don't know) if another option might
be for them to just get him groggy then use local
anesthesia. With humans it is sometimes startling
what can be done with locals, though getting
them in some internal locations isn't fun, so I
wonder if that might be a possibility, especially
since this is a skin op.
If removed definitely have pathology done.
