That doesn't automatically make is a mast cell tumor. It could be any
number of things, some cancerous.

Again, just because he reacted badly to anesthesia once doesn't mean he
will have a bad reaction again.

The fluids are to help keep the kidneys flushed, to my understanding.
I have two with kidney disease and give them both sub-q fluids every
three days. Though there is no cure, the result of the many months of
sub-q fluids is that the disease has not worsened.

If you choose not to deal with the mass, that's certainly your
decision, but you need to weigh the consequences of not dealing with it.
