This is the way most come out of anesthesia. I know it's upsetting to
watch but it isn't abnormal and it doesn't necessarily signify that
the medication was not well tolerated. I do understand your concerns
though, I would be concerned as well.
Perhaps your vet could manage to do a scraping, or something of the
sort, to see what the growth is? Then take it from there.
