This is about Pops. He came by way of two other homes.
I was told Pops' leg was already "hurt" when the couple #3 got him.
I was told he had been to a vet and the vet said he was fine. After
being a rescue for over 7 years I know how people lie. According to
what I have been told, his leg has been like this for at least 5
weeks.
He was taken to a vet who didn't know what was wrong with the leg so
10 ML of fluid was drained and put he was put on antibiotics for 2
weeks. The leg looked like the swelling was starting to go down, but
since the antibiotics are done the leg is swelling up again and
turning purple.
Last nite, Pops' leg was drained again and 1 ML of fluid was taken
but the fluid looked bloody.
I have pictures if anyone wants to see them.
Anyone have any ideas besides take him back to the vet? It doesn't
seem like the one they took him to resolved anything?
Also, on an unrelated subject I was stumped on, can a ferret get a
fever?
