Forget Wal-Mart. As far as local stores are concerned, I have found
that Petco carries the widest variety of ferret foods. I don't buy
mine there because I have a large number of ferrets and can get it
much cheaper on-line. However, I do shop at Petco for my dogs, so
have checked out the ferret section. It is impressive. To my
recollection, they carry Totally Ferret, Zupreem, 8 in 1 Ultimate,
Shepherd and Greene, Marshall's, and maybe one or two more. I would
buy at least two different ones and mix them together. Assuming you
want to take your ferret off its current food, you will need to
continue whatever you currently use and mix in the new, gradually,
over several weeks, reducing the old and increasing the new.
