Subject: [ferrethealth] lupron?

My 4 yea old ferret, Grimsley had his first Lupron injection on
October 14th. I was told it would last 4 weeks. I haven't seen much
improvement in how often he urinates. He also has a swelling around
his penis. I took him to my usual vet and she put him on clavamox, he
had a slight infection, too. It didn't resolve the urination problem.
In fact it got worse he was straining to urinate. I took him to an
emergency vet, she put him on baytril and reccommended Lupron for
him. I had our vet order it.
He eats, plays, poops, no hair loss, although it is a little thin.
My questions are: Should I have seen an improvement by now? If not,
when will I see one? When he need his next injection? Exactly 28 days?
