No my vet did not suggest I do it, but that is all he was doing for Pops.=
=A0 I know how to=A0remove the fluid=A0myself.=A0 I've been trained in doin=
g=A0so.=A0=A0I am not certified or anything.=A0 Not yet anyway.=A0 But I ha=
ve seen it done and assisted plenty of times to be able to do it on my own =
with out doing harm.=A0 I'm in the process of finding a good vet that has t=
he experience in Ferret care.=A0 None of the vets in my area do.=A0 When I =
do find a vet that tells me they have the experience I am going to be askin=
g for credentials.=A0 The vet I took Pops to, to begin with did tell me he =
had experience with ferrets.=A0 I'm not saying he lied, but I don't think h=
e has much experience with ferrets.=A0 And like most ferret parents Pops is=
one of my kids and I want only the best vet for him.=A0
