Subject: [ferrethealth] Need advice as soon as possible

I have a ferret who is about 7 or older
who recently started to wobble on one leg which I feel a lump
It is about the size of dime and feels round it also feels solid
His coat has grown back he had some hair loss from my other ferrets
hiding lollipop in couch , I have him on 3 mg of melatonin
I have no way to afford xrays or ultra sounds
I need to know what it could be and what I can do to help him
I don't want to put him to sleep I have been worrying about this since
I found out way after the fact of the conditions they get
If I had known I would of never put him or my others in this situation
Any ideas & advice will be considered and appreciated
