Subject: [ferrethealth] Out of date human medication for animals???

G'day,
Many people seem to believe that out of date human drugs are okay for
animals. I have my doubts. Out of date medication could be either less
potent or more potent or useless. If I remember correctly one
particular drug, and I can't remember anymore the name of it, becomes
toxic once past its used by date and has killed dogs.
My motto - if it's not fit for humans don't give it to your ferret.
