Hi Melanie and others whose ferrets have has stomach surgery
or who know about that topic,
I have a question from a friend of mine. One of her ferrets has had
an obstruction removed from her stomach last Thursday and the
instructions from the vet are that the ferret gets one teaspoon of
Convalescence Support (a kind of powder that is mixed with water and
looks like porridge)every 2 hours, and nothing else, to let her
stomach rest after the operation. What did your vet prescribe to feed
Tommy for the first 10 days after the operation ?
