ello i was told to get nic-nac's info out to everyone in the f.h.l. before =
you guy's go to the show thurs. had some trouble scanning all will work on =
getting the rest of it.
nic is 3 yr's=A0
run's no temp but feel's hot or warm to touch sometime's.
he is not interested in eating his dry=A0=A0food or drinking. i soup him ev=
ery 4hr's (carnivore care duk and ground up marshall's)
i need help he has been though hell and we still donn;t know what we're tre=
ating just giving him every thing.from the med cabinet!!!!
[IMPORTANT! Please, do NOT do that! I hope that
you are saying it only as a joke because human
over the counter meds have caused liver failure and
death from that and other causes for ferrets far too

he's seen 3 vet's one is my vet i have been seeing for awhile .2 other's wh=
ich my vet referred one of them in the beginng. he said nic had a bad viral=
gave a 6 day=A0anti. shot with what everyone i have spoke to about nic has=
thought it to be very high dose of predislone 5ml 2x a day with amoxi as=
=A0same dosage.. no improvement. i questioned=A0this because it seemed it w=
as making him feel and look worse. he said to keep doing it=A0 that it woul=
d have to run
it's course. so also to find out he ran not 1 test on nic this was all fig=
ured out by eyeballing my little. i stop=A0 all med's=A0.
[Caution: Stopping meds prematurely can lead to
stronger bacteria and worse infection. So always
have treating vet's permission before doing so. -- Mod].
then the next vet #3. ulta sounds;x-ray's apirating of spleen blood work yo=
u name it he did it ,also done by my vet as well excludeing aspirating of s=
pleen my vet said every thing looked good #3 vet said just about evert thin=
g he did was bad!!! that he should be put to sleep he's in pain and won't m=
ake it though the nite that was almost a month ago. since then he's been ba=
ck to my vet and repeated blood work and his stuff was good glucose a littl=
e=A0low then next test it was a bit high.
he eat's all soup i offer him=A0 pretty much(about 3-4 tlbs powder mix with=
pedialyte.now my vet since having him on amoxi, then cipro mixed with gren=
idine. now we are tryine carafate.35ml wait 1hr then 5ml of flagyl/and amox=
i can't think of the dose right off the top of my head. if you need it i wi=
ll put it in with thre rest of the paper's i think may be helpful for you t=
o see.
nic get's around great=A0 he just has no desire to play with his house mate=
taz and see is sad about not having him to bounce around with.
i must=A0go give nic flagyl and amoxi. i started this last nite and not sur=
e if it is helping him or not=A0maybe=A0 i'll see improvement soon HOPING i=
do.i do know=A0 it make's his poop's stick to his hinnie=A0 and he seem's =
to be going more please help me help nic-nac
