I was very disappointed by my vet today. Because of my work schedule, I usu=
ally do "Drop offs." I drop them off in the morning around 8am and pick the=
m up on my lunch hour at 1pm. They are always ready sooner. They sat in the=
ir carrier from 7:30am until almost 6pm when I got them home frm the vet. I=
was angry, and I felt bad for having to leave them in there for SO LONG. A=
nyway, the vet said she felt he was acting the way he was from having a low=
BG. She upped his pred, gave him some sub q fluids and that's it. She also=
recommends that we get his hernia fixed. I got him home and my husband and=
I collectively decided to take him to the emergency vet. He just didn't lo=
ok good at all. The emergency vet (who has seen him before) thought that he=
looked septic. He had sepsis in August, this is also when we discovered he=
had insulinoma. So, he stayed the night and he is at a different vet's off=
ice this morning, the one he saw yesterday (who he usually sees) is
off on Wednesdays.

Sorry, this turned into a thread not exactly about a hernia.
