Personally, I would not be sending an 8 year old ferret in for adrenal
surgery. I did once and lost the boy post op. Lupron is an alternative
and may be a better choice. I use it with all of my adrenals, minus
the surgery and regardless of age, and I've seen wonderful results,
much better then I'd seen with surgery. You might want to speak with
your vet about it.
