To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com
Sorry for the several posts in a short time. I went ahead and looked
through the archives (wonderful resource) and decided that I will have
to wait until Saturday for the vet to take a look at her. Noticed that
although I thought lymphoma was unlikely, turns out there have been
cases where tumors press on the spinal cord and cause paralysis. One
post from Sukie mentioned there can be several causes of hind leg
paralysis. Will have to contain myself until Saturday. She's my longest
lived ferret of my current group and I'm so attached. She's eating her
chicken baby food bless her. I'm just puzzled at the fact that this
symptom showed up a month ago and is now recurring. Will post if the
veterinarian eventually can find or suggest the cause.
