Subject: [ferrethealth] New Ferret - No Smell, No biting but some behaviour problems!
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

Hello All!
I recently wrote about my ferret who was smelling quite foul and quite
agressive (New ferret with foul Smell). After 3 weeks on a premium
diet, getting him desexed and throwing in some love, he is becomming
quite a handsome little man!! His only behaviour problem now is when we
let him out of his cage, he goes psycho! We only let him run in our
bathroom area which is 4m long and 1.5 wide, so a good space. How can
we beat this little problem? Im not sure if its his angry or happy
dance! But he hops everywhere bumping into things, I think he is happy.
Could this be an after affect of no previous handling, and from not
much out of cage freedom in his past life?? Im sure it will eventually
settle but does he need more time out of the cage, or less time more
often to slowly introduce him outside of his cage life?
Your help is much appreciated!
