I think that a veterinarian who has specialized in the treatment of
exotoic, and especially ferrets, someone like Dr. Susan Brown, knows
what she is talking about.

Again, ferrets require fat for energy. They can not process
carbohydrates the way humans do.

ferrets require a diet that is highly concentrated with FAT as the main
source of calories (energy) and highly digestible MEAT-BASED PROTEIN.

protein.
