A ferret we are fostering for a local shelter is insulinomic and on pred. We have just had him for a couple of weeks, but had been very concerned about the way his feel slip when he gets on the wood part of the floor. Our other ferrets don't have a problem with it at all. We got his BG done and it was 114. I'm not sure what causes his hind end weakness, although for him it is not an occasional thing that would signify a new trouble. Just mentioning incase anyone had any thoughts for our foster boy. (He does have a bit of a belly that could be part of the trouble).
