I have Sabrina on 0.2 ml diazoxide and 0.1 ml pred twice a day plus a
half tablet of gastricalm. She has been on this for about a month
now and hasnt had the glucose highs and lows. I had the vet add the
gastricalm to make sure there wouldn't be any stomach problems with
the pred. I have the diazoxide compounded at a pharmacy in Tualatin
for 89.00 shipped to me, it will last about 2 months. Gastricalm is
about 45.00 a bottle and will last several months. She is doing
great on this and seems to have tons of energy. Almost like having a
younger ferret in the house again. She has checkups every 3 months to
make sure the meds don't need to be adjusted.
