Subject: [ferrethealth] Is bitter apple healthy?

I am going to be getting a few ferrets, (2 males and a female! yay!)
after christmas. And after much research i see my BIGGESt problem
would be them chewing on cords and stuff. I just wondered if there
were any alternitives to bitter apple, and if its really ok for them. i
also heard that some ferrets like the taste of it what do you do then?
My ferrets will have alot of time running loose and I was just trying
to get everything, 'ferret resistant' before they come.
