Could be a mast cell tumor. Here are some photo's of one that was
removed from my ferret Connor....

I've had several others with them as well, they're very common in
ferrets. Mast cells are usually benign and not something to be overly
concerned about but they can be malignant. Only one of mine so far has
had malignant mast cells (my Devlin had three removed, all were
malignant).

If you choose to have it removed be sure to have it biopsied.
