Except that we don't know that it IS a
malignancy. Had a malignancy been
found for sure the treating vets would
have said so, and in pers. coms. with a
ferret expert vet that individual considers
lymphoma to not be among the best of
the possible fits.
So, whatever is wrong MIGHT be
something for which getting a transfusion
might be a help.
At this point there is NOT enough info to
glue the ferret's future onto one possibility.
On the other hand, it is a good time to consider
options.
