Hi Kelsey,

The food change could certainly do it. But you have to be careful that
he doesn't get dehydrated, which can happen fairly quickly with
fuzzbutts. I would suggest giving him a duck soup made out of
something like Hills Prescription A/D, pedialyte and some 100% pumpkin
(NOT pumpkin pie filling) mixed in. About a heaping teaspoon should do
it. If he does begin to look dehydrated a vet visit for sub-q would be
in order. Pinch his scruff and give it a gentle twist, if it bounces
back right away - he's okay, if it comes back slowly he's dehydrated
and needs sub-q. Although the pedialyte if given frequently can work
at rehydrating if he's not too dehydrated already.

In terms of EVO, Innova EVO Cat/Kitten is virtually identical to Innova
EVO Ferret with a slightly higher fat content. If your pet store
carries the Natura products they should be able to order in some of the
Innova EVO for you, especially the Cat/Kitten, which tends to be a high
seller, a point I would make with the pet store. However, it does
contain chicken as well as turkey so that may be a problem if doesn't
tolerate chicken.
