Hello,

My deepest condolences on the loss of your beloved ferret.

Unfortunately I couldn't send this to you privately, the email bounced
back as undeliverable so I am posting it here.

Ferrets do grieve for certain. The best thing would be to find a
companion for her soon. I would check with the local shelters in your
area so they can assist you to find a suitable match. Sometimes its
good to actually take the grief stricken ferret to a ferret shelter and
see who she picks as a companion. You may have to feed her yourself so
that she doesn't starve herself, which can happen with some ferrets who
grieve badly.

If there are no shelters in your area, Sukie's suggestion to check with
veterinary clinics who treat ferrets is another option. Then there's
also internet sites like Craig's List, although you have to be careful
the poster are legitimate. Another option of course is to post that you
are looking for a ferret. Last resort is to buy a kit at a pet store.

Hope she feels better soon - poor little thing : (

Warmest Regards,

Tressie
