And, often, you can't readily find the unflavored when you need it. I
have completely quit using Pedialyte, or the generic equivalents.
Instead, I use Lactated Ringers, and administer them either sub-q
(ferrets, wildlife, etc.) or via feeding tube (orphaned opossums). I
always have a couple of bags on hand, and feel much safer using this.
