Jack may have ingested something, which is causing an obstruction in
his gastrointestinal tract. This is one possibility. Is he passing any
stool?

If he were older I would be suspicious that it may be insulinoma and
what you experienced was an insulinomic seizure. Have his blood
glucose level checked. Did the attending veterinarians take any blood
samples?

This could be a number of different conditions or illnesses.

Do you have a veterinary teaching hospital near you where you can take
him to be seen by a veterinarian experienced in treating ferrets? He
needs to be evaluated by a ferret knowledgeable veterinarian.

What country do you live in?

Tressie
