To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

hello emma, you need to have his sugar tested, that sound's like
insulinoma but wow !!you said he's only 5 month's? he must have his
blood work done and trust me on this one, ask for a chem panel as
well. i'm dealing with this with one of my boy's but he's 5yr's(still
don't make it any better)in most case's of insulinoma i believe it
can be some what controlled.try getting him to eat duk soup
(Marshall's make's it) i'm starting to sound like an add for the
stuff!!)but it doe's the job.carnivore-care is good too. but if you
don't have that stuff , get a coffee grinder or just really mash up
his food he enjoy's the most. add warm water or pedialyte. make it
kinda soup to get some fulid's into him along with food. do this
every 3-4 hr's yes ,around the clock. i also have one that i do that
for as well. it's tuff but they are worth it!! and the best thing is
get him to a vet that know's ferret's(i wonder sometime's if there
are any)please don't let him go to long with out souping. you know i
think it save's live's in some case's. good luck honey, and let me
know how he's doing or if i can be any help. vickie nic and the
gang
