In England you can buy some waltham convalescense support food. A powder you make a liquid food from that is very often used here with ferrets that don t eat well, have diarrhea ( because of the very good taste, almost all ferrets like it and will see it as a treat. Mixed with some more water, it can give your ferret more intake of fluid during diarrhea. It is also very easily digested.
One can only buy it at the vet.
Royal Canin produces the stuff.
Here in the Netherlands we call it ferret cocaine.
( Just a joke) because ferrets feel so well with this special food for sick animals.
