go into wet belly in mink
The photos show the wetness in both areas you describe
with the ferret and the text tells about factors such as
infection, genetics, dietary composition, etc. that are
though to play a part.
Of course, ferrets are NOT mink, but they are in the same genus
so this is perhaps worth consideration.

df
has info beginning on page 12 but the quality of the copy
is too poor for my vision.

says that genetics, too much fat in diet and obesity have been
implicated in mink and that the affected ones need more water.
So, just in case there is a chance it might be that...
Of course, a person has to ask what would cause drooling and leaking urine
in a kit... Take that in combination with a temporarily swollen abdomen
(pers com) and light brown diarrhea which is now coming under control
(pers com).
To me it sounds like an infection of some unknown cause that got
bad enough that fever or inability to process food well enough
(resulting in low blood sugar) caused an infection related seizure.
That is just a guess, though.
