Subject: [ferrethealth] tick bite

Baby got a tick bite under her chin and I pulled the tick off I did not
get the head. There is a large knot under her chin now that sometimes
she scratches until it bleeds. I asked the Vet to lance and hopefully
the head would come out with a bit of a squeeze. She refused as Baby
is so very tiny. This was over a year ago now and she still has it.
She is six years old and I hate to see this on her.
Should I be worried and take her to another vet. Most times it just
looks like a wart, until she makes it bloody. She is about 1 lb, small
head.
