Subject: [ferrethealth] Normal stool appearance for Carnivore Care?
To: ferrethealth@yahoogroups.com

It occurs to me that I don't actually know with certainty what the "normal" appearance of stool is for a ferret that eats carnivore care. Does anyone have any experience with this?

When my I give it to my one-year-old female (who sometimes will beg for some when the others get it - I will let her have it sometimes as a treat) her stool is usually formed, in one continuous piece, and only a little darker in color than the actual carnivore care itself. I *think* that's probably normal, but just wanted to check whether anyone else had experience -- God only knows that with my luck, something could be wrong with her, too!
