I would think any decent vet would know how to express a ferrets bladder but I could be wrong. I'm sure that will probably need to be done tho. Hopefully someone else will have more knowledge than I have.
Good luck and prayers for him.

My 5 year old male ferret has adrenal. 2 weeks ago, he received a
melatonin implant. As of tonight, he seems to be unable to urinate.
He tries, but nothing comes out. I've tried to contact the emergency
vets in the area, but none of them have a ferret vet working tonight,
unfortunately.

My question: Is there anything at all I can do at home to help him
until morning, when I can get him to my regular vet?

Thanks in advance,
Nicole
